The Red Ribbon Club of GDC Ramgarh, in collaboration with JK AIDS
Control Society, organized an awareness rally on HIV/AIDS as part of the ongoing celebration of "World AIDS Day" with this year’s theme "Take the Right Path” under the guidance of Dr. (Prof.) Geetanjali Andotra, Principal of the College and co-ordination of Prof. Sandeep Kumari, convener of the Red Ribbon Club.
Students actively participated in the rally by holding banners and placards with powerful messages aimed at promoting awareness and encouraging the community to join hands in the fight against HIV/AIDS. Various slogans like "Fight AIDS, Not People" and "Yehi Hamara Nara Hai, AIDS Ko Door Bhagana Hai” were also
raised by the participants.
Addressing the participants, Dr. (Prof.) Geetanjali Andotra emphasized the importance of education and awareness in combating HIV/AIDS. She stated,"Eradicating stigma and building a supportive society is crucial to achieving a world free of AIDS. Such initiatives bring us closer to this goal.
The rally covered key area of Swankha, spreading awareness about HIV prevention, treatment, and the need for empathy toward those affected.
