The NSS unit ‘Prabha’ of Government Degree College Ramgarh organized a Special Registration Drive on December 10, 2024, with the aim to enroll new volunteers to NSS Unit on the My Bharat portal. The event was held under the patronage of the esteemed Principal, Prof. (Dr.) Geetanjli Andotra along with the coordination of NSS Program Officer Prof. Brhm Dutt.
The drive was designed to encourage students, to register on the My Bharat portal, aligning with the recommendations of the Ministry of Youth Affairs and Sports, Government of India. The
portal serves as a centralized platform for various youth-related programs and initiatives,promoting social, cultural, and community-driven activities that foster responsibility and
citizenship among young people.
The NSS uniforms were also distributed to the newly registered volunteers. NSS Prof. Brhm Dutt addressed the students and explained the rules and responsibilities, for them as NSS volunteers. He emphasized the importance of discipline, commitment and the role of volunteers in
community service, urging them to actively contribute to various social causes and initiatives. Prof. (Dr.) Geetanjli Andotra, the Principal of the College, expressed her satisfaction with the
successful organization of the drive and praised the active participation of students. She also appreciated the efforts of the organizing team and encouraged students to continue engaging in youth-centric activities.
