Internal Quality Assurance Cell (IQAC) of Government Degree College, Ramgarh in collaboration with the Handicrafts Service Centre Jammu Office of the Development Commissioner (Handicrafts), Ministry of Textiles, Government of India inaugurated a three-day workshop on “Craft Demonstration cum Awareness Programme.” The workshop aimed to empower participants
with hands-on training in popular indigenous crafts including decoupage, pottery craft, Basholi painting, and bamboo craft, enhancing their creativity and entrepreneurial skills. The whole event was organized under the able guidance and supervision of Prof. (Dr.) Geetanjali Andotra, Principal of the College, with the support of IQAC convener Dr. Aditi Khajuria and faculty members of the college.
The workshop was graced by the esteemed guest Mrs. Ambika Sambyal, Assistant Director of the Handicrafts Service Centre, Jammu who provided insights into the significance of handicrafts
in our cultural heritage. The workshop began with the auspicious Lighting of the Lamp ceremony, officiated by esteemed Principal of the college, chief guest Mrs. Ambika Sambyal along with faculty
members of the college.
