Government Degree College, Ramgarh celebrated Hindi Diwas with great fervor and enthusiasm. The event was organized under the able supervision and guidance of Prof. (Dr.) Geetanjali Andotra, Principal of the college. The highlight of the celebration was a thought- provoking lecture delivered by the esteemed guest speaker, Professor Balwan Singh, Department of Hindi, Govt. College of Education Jammu. The program commenced with the traditional lighting of the lamp, setting a tone of reverence and cultural significance for the event.
Prof. Balwan Singh delivered an engaging lecture on "Hindi: Ekta ki Bhasha" exploring the role of Hindi in promoting national unity and cultural integration. In his lecture, he elaborated on
how Hindi serves as a common thread that weaves together the rich culture of India. His discussion highlighted the language’s historical evolution and its role in promoting national integration and cultural harmony.
The lecture was attended by all faculty members and students of the college. The celebration of Hindi Diwas not only honored the language but also reinforced its significance as a unifying force
